Public Relations Director

The Bond No. 9 Public Relations Director position will help develop and implement the strategic vision in the United States. In this capacity, this person will work very closely with the founder, Laurice Rahme. This position is critical to sustaining the growth and momentum of the brand.

  • Create and execute ongoing integrated programs and launch initiatives.
  • Strategize to develop programs and initiatives that will provide measurable results in achieving the brand’s global communications objectives.
  • Work closely with Laurice Rahme in the execution of product launches based on guidelines provided.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key national press (i.e., beauty, grooming and lifestyle print and broadcast media); work to secure feature and exclusive stories in national print and broadcast outlets; establish strategic media relations plans for new product launches.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key business and national news weeklies in order to garner additional corporate features on the brand.
  • Create, identify and implement integrated visibility programs such as cross promotions, sponsorships, sampling, etc.
  • Serve as primary team liaison for third-party partners to ensure proper project management for example, fashion week and philanthropic endeavors.

Qualifications
  • Position requires 10+ years public relations/communications.
  • Good managerial skills to develop and coach direct report.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication, analytical, creative and computer skills.
  • Flexible in terms of adapting to changes or shifts in priorities.
  • Team-player.
