Certified Sales Specialists Japan 2002

The First Group of Fragrance Sales Specialists in Japan Achieves Certification

January 16, 2002 — The newly-formed Japan Fragrance Association, in collaboration with The Fragrance Foundation U.S.A., established the first professional school for fragrance sales training in the fall of 2001. The centerpiece of the cooperation is the Certified Fragrance Sales Specialists Program established in the U.S. by the Foundation in 1994, which has resulted in over 1,700 graduates. On Tuesday, December 4, 2001, certification was granted to five fragrance sales specialists who completed the training course and passed the test. Each sales specialist received a certification pin and certificate in recognition of their accomplishment. These were presented by Ms. Kuroda, Chairman of JFA and Mr. Debaecker of Bluebell Japan.

Japanese Certification

Japan Fragrance Association utilized the Foundation's Certification Study Guide and additional pertinent materials for the training program.

The next fragrance training session begins in early January 2002, with certificates and pins presented in late March / early April.

Directing members of the Japan Fragrance Association include the following companies: Bluebell Japan, Cool Beauty, Estee Lauder International and Pola.
